Very decent base beer. Creamy. Barrel aged in icewine barrel, that has a slight fruit and sweetness. Very major league. On tap at Bar Volo. Thicker looking

Purchased a 8oz sample. Served at 7deg C in a wine glass
A- Pours a 1/2" high brown head that is gone within 2mins or so. Served at 7deg C in a wine glass.
S- Sweet red wine scent with coffee and chocolate notes
T- Has that wonderful red wine barrel based stout. Definitely a Niagara on the lake red wine barrel as there are thousands of them there every year available. The stout is malty and chocolate with coffee notes. Well balanced. This one is very complex and opens right up as it warms.
M- Creamy good and sweet
O- Excellent brew. Will buy on sight and will see if it is available at the brewery as it worth seeking out for sure.
Food Pairing
This wonderful brew will go well with...... a brazed meat. Some kind of beef brazed the way you like it
Enjoy
