On tap at volo as Hay Day BIPA, 6.8%. Pour is a clear crisp gold, good head and retention, lacing is solid. Smell is yeasty, peach and lemon salt, with some grassy floral hop character, also banana. Taste has robust peachy, apple fruits, some papaya, with a leathery earthy aspect and underlying bitterness. Finish is dry and crisp. Some interesting complex grapefruit muddled in there. Mouthfeel is refreshing and satisfying, quite assertively drying, strong carbonation to keep it clean, definitely a yeasty tang over a complex earthy body. Very tasty and balanced, quite dry on the finish, but certainly one I enjoyed drinking.

On-tap at Volo.
Beer is clear amber. Almost no head, just a bit of white rim and lace.
Smell is relatively faint. Belgian yeast, light fruit, grass.
The beer is surprisingly bitter for the style. Lots of Belgian yeast; a pronounced bubblegum flavour with some light fruit. A grassy, herbal flavour from the hops. Finish is quite bitter.
Light bodied, moderately carbonated. A bit oily.
Overall. not bad, but overly bitter and a bit heavy on the bubblegum flavour.

Yeasty aroma, dirty blond flabour. Hoppy finish. Light golden colour with 1/4" of retained head. Delicately hopped rather than a modern IPA. Ok drinkability. Farmhouse yeast character. A tad acidic/tart. On tap at The Rhino. I know the brewer can kill it in this style.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
