Pours a clear dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and good lacing. Smells of strong roasted malt, strong sweet malt, hint of rye, hops, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong roasted malt, strong sweet malt, hint of rye, hops, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, decent appearance, good aroma, body, and blend, but low complexity.
