Had a pint while lunching with Da Boss at the Glendale AZ location for $6.60.
Beer was served orange with a nice white head initially.
Nose is a little subdued, hints of floral and citrus hops are apparent in a light way.
Taste is old school WCDIPA. Big heavy malt base is greeted by citrus. Finishes with a balanced pine bitterness; 5/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is heavy for the abv and pretty smooth.
Overall it is always enjoyable to have an old school DIPA!

March 31st, 2015 - Oggi's Doubleup IPA tastes a little sickly, and I could begin to blame taster fatigue. But the off-tastes here seem very off indeed. To all appearances it is a fine and normal IPA, with a slight haze on the fox brown brew, and a light fuzzy head on top. The aroma is lightly floral but present and accountable, and the flavor is slightly more alcoholic. But the palate falls flat on the tongue, and the aftertaste is unpleasantly medicinal.

Floral and slightly piney, grapefruit and citrus aromas define this double ipa.
