On-tap at the Oggi's in Garden Grove, on to the beer:
Toasted orange in color with reddish hues mixed in. The head on top is creamy and lasts all the way down, lacing is good. Nose is fruity and a little tropical from the hop pedals. The first sip is excellent; more malt dominant with doughy and loads of toffee hit upfront while pine and pineapple play in the background. However, things do become a little rough at times with a strong sting of resin that becomes apparent in the overall picture.
A little bit of a changeup in the Oggi's portfolio. Solid as it stands, though a sample from a fresh keg with less resin could become fun to drink.

On-tap at Oggi's Tustin
A: The beer pours amber in color with a slightly soapy white head.
S: A nice citrus hop aroma to the beer with some grapefruit and grapefruit peel. Other citrus peel notes and a nice pine smell too. A slight soapiness and a bit of bready malts.
T: Sharp citrus, mostly grapefruit, bite with a solid bitterness to it. Some pine hop flavors also give the beer bitterness. Toffee and bready malts with a little bit of a toast flavor to it.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Easily the best beer that was available at Oggi's. Pretty good stuff, actually.
