On tap at the brewery. Pours medium golden orange with an off-white head. Aroma reminds me of an aged barleywine: pine, citrus and caramel malt in equal quantities. Flavor bears this out as the toffee caramel maltiness is too strong, overpowering the seemingly faded hops. Call this a barleywine and raters on beeradvocate will give it a 4.18. As a double IPA it falls short.
