Great head. Large, fluffy with lots of lacing. Cloudy with the classic pale straw gold liquid and lots of double shine.
Lemony nose has mild wheat twang and cereal grains. Healthy malt backbone. A hint of soap. Gentle spicing that gives a slight coriander push.
Taste is dry and mildly sour. A lemony, delicate and subtle balance of grains and spices. Low hop bitterness to the point of none. This wit is in the mold of an old school, tart refresher. Healthy grains in the finish. Some crackers and wheat malt with a bit of spice and lemon.
Feel is crisp and nicely carbonated.
A solid entry. It treads the dryer part of the path and as such will be more polarizing. I like the risk. A great summer quencher.
