So easy drinking it's not funny! This warm-weather favorite combines a clean light color and malt profile with a subtle bitterness & noble hop aroma.

Decanted from an 12 oz (355 ml) can into a nonic pint glass; canned 06/20/2019.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, golden color with a three finger, foamy head, excellent retention (at least a finger) and lacing.
S: Fruity and floral. Bouquet of rose and milky lactose, giving way to aromas of pineapple, honeysuckle, white pepper, cracker, apple, and grasses/grains.
T: Unexpectedly dry with again a grainy/grassy flavor. Definitely some apple and pear, as well, but very limited bitterness, just sufficient for a refreshing with very crisp finish.
M: Light bodied and medium carbonation. Creamy.
O: This is a winner. I would not normally go into the store and say, 'Oh, a Kölsch would really hit the spot,' but I would buy, drink, serve, even gift this any day. An unexpected gem. Kudos to Yonkers BC!
