On tap at Yonkers Brewing Co.
Pours a hazy, slightly murky, caramel and amber color. A moderate fingernail length frothy head dissipates after about a minute.
Fruity and floral aromas emit sweetness: notes of jammy and juicy fruit, strawberry, blueberry bubblegum, peach and apricot. The malt aroma evokes notes of biscuit, honey and caramel.
Fruity and floral hops flavors align with the aroma, while the malt backbone is full, chewy and sweet. Notes of fruity marmalade, both dark fruit and citrus, grapefruit, berries, red grape, peach, and apricot. The biscuity, doughy and caramel malt supports the fruity flavors. Sweet overall with a developing hops bitterness. The finish is a bit boozy. Full bodied, smooth and moderately carbonated.
Nice flavors, although I’ll take a few points off in that I’d prefer a better balance, more bitterness and less booze.
