This Belgian style pale ale beer is a marriage of old world brewing with the new. A hoppy pale ale fermented with yeast from a venerable Belgian brewery. The result is a brew with some bite on your palate and a rich a complex aroma with hop characteristics and fruitiness that only comes from Belgian yeast.

An outstanding take on the style. Slightly cloudy burnt orange thick white head that takes forever to fade and leaves tons of lace. Nose is full of Belgian funk. Banana cinnamon malt pepper bubblegum. Noble hops. Medicine cabinet.

Taste is a follow-up from the nose but it starts with a pronounced hop presence. Tight and dry it opens up to show caramel sweetness, Belgian funk, pepper, bubblegum and cinnamon.
Leafy bitterness make for a dry lightly hop oily finish

Feel is smooth and creamy medium weight

A great session and anytime beer.

Had on tap. Murky orange body, white cap. Citrus and yeast in the dull nose. Taste is much the same, maybe a hint of biscuit but really it is just citrus and yeast again. Feel is thin, but thankfully dries out a bit, hop kiss on the end is floral yet mild

On-tap at Bronx Ale House, Bronx, NY

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has some amber hues; no carbonation is visible. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, leaving lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of fruity yeast are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell but the fruity flavors imparted by the Belgian yeast are a little more complex.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I could see this being an good beer for a novice as it's easy to drink and doesn't have as much sweetness and spices compared to some other Belgian Pale Ales.
