The first beer that I’ve had from Naukabout that disappointed.
For starters, it’s called a NEIPA but is a deep amber color and not cloudy in the least.
The aroma is nice but not floral as described by the brewery. According to the crowler label it has Mandarina and Amarillo hops, but I didn’t get the usual orange fruit flavor and aroma from the Mandarina. Maybe cancelled out by the Amarillo?
The taste was quite good if nothing special. Mouthfeel was also nothing special.
Overall, I would say that this was a nice amber ale - too malty for a pale ale and not hoppy enough for an IPA.
