Canned "October '19" Bottom stamped with the words "Basic Batch", solid nod here lol
Pumpkin beer in almost May? 6 months out of season? Sure, why tf not, it was on the clearance shelf at my local
Pours a cloudy pale gold with 2+ fingers of foamy white head that fades quick, no lacing
Aroma is not heavy on the pumpkin, the first thing I pick up is mild citrus, followed by some squash and graham cracker, a hint of cinnamon
Huh, not too heavy on the pumpkin in the taste either, but this is a bit strange. The front end of the sip is rather nondescript, but the middle palate, though quickly passing, gives off a slightly tart pumpkin note with just a bit of spice before finishing with citrusy hops
Pretty light in body with a bit of carbonation, this drinks easy despite the strange tart character in the taste. Regardless, it is still too thin even for the abv and style
A weird one no doubt. Though obviously not at peak freshness, I do not think this would be that much better fresh. Unless this is an infected can, there is something very off about this beer. Admittedly, I'm just now realizing that the can lists this as a "Milkshake India Pale Ale" so that explains some of the mild bitter and heavy citrus notes

Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau pilsner glass.
Look is a hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly.
Aroma has a strong pumpkin spice with cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove.
Taste is light and tangy almost like a pumpkin pie gose with a slight hop note.
Pretty well balanced for everything going into it.
