L - Darker than Coke. Even held to the the light possibly the darkest beer I have ver seem. Tan head clars immediately to almost nothing.
S - Distrinct roast coffee.
T - Rich iced coffee, with heavy toasted grains.
F - A little sweet for me and perhaps at 4.7% a bit light to carry it off. It might be more interesting to try this as try a 6.5% brew.
O 'Too clever by half' as they say. They seem to be trying to do so much they end up with a confusing jumble. As an afterthrought I failed to detect any of the labled salt element at all.

330ml bottle. Very dark brown with a thin, rapidly shrinking, tan head. Aroma is strong & sweet, roasted cocoa & lactose. Very sweet, salt & caramel are prominent and up-front, aftertaste is slightly burned and ashy. Light body, light carbonation, smooth. Very sweet milk stout with an impressive nose but a thin mouthfeel.

Garnet; big cocoa; milk chocolate + creme brulee thin, slightly salty linger.

Hits the concept (salted caramel chocolate milk stout, that is) including the salt. But thin + dies on the finish. Kinda boring, for all the stuff.

It's classified as an English Stout but this is unlike any English Stout I've ever had. It has the look and feel of a stout but none of the bitterness. I suspect the IBUs are below 20. I'm tasting the salted Carmel mixed with the sweet milk flavor right away. The chocolate flavor takes a back seat to the other flavors. This beer has a lot going on for all of it is delicious.

Bottle. Very dark brown. Tan head - thick and frothy.
Milk chocolate aroma. Some cocoa. Sweetish. Light smoke.
Tastes as it smells. Caramel comes through. Almost fudge like.
Smooth and quite viscous.
Lush if oversweet.

Bottle poured into tulip.

Nice surprise here. I was prepared for a watery insipid affair given the low ABV for the style but this is a genuinely sweet, decadent dessert stout. Well balanced with all of the advertised components present and correct. Mouthfeel is thick, creamy and luxurious. The best UK milk stout that I've tried? Probably. Cheers

Aroma, slightly fusty ash tray, bit farty. Not very pleasant to be honest. Some caramel chocolate there

mild salty/caramel/chocolate, at least that is there in taste, but all rather subdued. Lacking in bitterness but not particularly sweet. Low carb, rather thin. Some cola there. Drying finish

Not very good, in fact I can't think of a worse stout I have had, Guinness draught and some dodgy coopers homebrewed stout included. It's not terrible but I would never try it again given the number of much better offerings out there

330ml bottle into a Spiegleau Stout glass. Paid £2.70 for a single.

Pours an opaque, dark black body that when held to the light shows some ruby glimmers near the edges of the glass. A dense, creamy, one-finger in height, light tan coloured head with excellent retention, slowly reduces to a thin film and collar, leaving behind an abundance of sticky, soapy lace.

The relatively subtle nose is led initially by a combination of lightly roasted dark malts and hints of coffee. Lesser notes of milk chocolate, clotted cream, vanilla fudge and salted caramel become more perceptible once allowed to warm. Taste follows almost exactly. Lightly roasted dark malts, subtle coffee and milk chocolate lead the simple flavour profile upfront. Mid palate, plenty of lactose, toffee and caramel create a notably rich and creamy sweetness, before the addition of Cornish Sea Salt provides faint savoury balance. In the mouth, a light to medium body and small amounts of velvety soft carbonation give a feel that’s slick, smooth and creamy, despite being a little thin. Towards the back end, slightly darker and drier roasted malt profiles add traces of bitterness. Hints of coffee and cocoa powder linger just longer enough to dry the palate faintly, but salty-sweet and buttery residual caramel profiles comprise the majority of the quick finish.

Overall this is a good beer. Simple, but smooth, interesting and incredibly easy-drinking. Throughout it delivers its salted caramel profile with enough subtly to avoid becoming cloying. The chocolate character however could be little more pronounced, the thin body is slightly lacking in heft and it could dry out more in the finish. At only 4.7% ABV however these are forgivable small flaws in what is otherwise a very sessionable low gravity desert beer.

Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has dark malts, biscuits, roasted almonds and some cacao. Taste is slightly sweet with almonds and chocolate notes. Slightly roasty on the finish but there is no bitterness. Body is light to medium, feels quite smooth. I'm surprised how tasty this beer is at just 4.7% ABV.

Served at cellar temperature from 330ml bottle into tulip glass.

L) Reddish-black opaque, thin tan film.

S) Dry coffee granules. Not much beer.

T) Nice. Soft coffee flavour, some marshmallow sweetness. Just a bit of burnt malt bitterness at the end.

F) NIce marshmallow squidginess in the mouthfeel, especially to say it is only 4.7% ABV. Carbonation is very mild. Just a touch of bitterness on the aftertaste, very nice.

O) Very tasty stout at 4.7% ABV. Recommended.
