Copenhagen 18/4 2020. 33 cl can from Voldby Købmandsgaard webshops. Stylized drawing of an orange deer with quite small antlers looking grumpily at me from the black can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big lightly beige head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin, flimsy, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense. Sweet and dark with a salty streak. Caramel, chocolate, nuts, peanuts. Wet soil, leather. Light saltiness.
Light carbonation. Milky, slightly thick, soft, smooth texture.
Flavor is medium intense. Fairly strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Salty streak. Aftertaste is sweetish but with notable bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Lightly salty finish.
A not too sweet pasty beer bringing a salty component to the table.

S: Shortbread, chocolate, toffee
T: Chocolate, dark fruits, alcohol, coffee, burnt toast
F: Initial strong carbonation gives way to a balanced mouth texture, well-bodied

Thinner body than CA milk stouts.
Can actually taste the caramel, salt, and chocolate.
Quite sweet but still good.

330ml bottle - a 'salted caramel + chocolate + milk stout'.
This beer pours a fairly solid black, with some amber basal edges, and three fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and creamy beige head, which leaves some decent pitted limestone wall pattern lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.
It smells of bready and doughy caramel malt, bittersweet cocoa powder, day-old coffee grounds, saltine crackers, cold cream, and very subtle earthy, musty, and floral noble hops. The taste is semi-sweet chocolate pudding, grainy and bready caramel malt, saltwater taffee, cafe-au-lait, and more well-understated leafy, herbal, and dead floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is quite mild in its milquetoast frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, and generally smooth, with a pleasant creaminess arising as things warm up a tad out of the ol' basement bar fridge. It finishes off-dry, the caramel and cocoa essences exhibiting the most lingering fervour.
Overall - this offering essentially delivers on all its selling points, so there's not much else to say, other than that I enjoyed it. Well-made, and worth giving a try, should you get the chance to 'drink wildly different', which kind of sounds awkward, but whatever.

L - Darker than Coke. Even held to the the light possibly the darkest beer I have ver seem. Tan head clars immediately to almost nothing.
S - Distrinct roast coffee.
T - Rich iced coffee, with heavy toasted grains.
F - A little sweet for me and perhaps at 4.7% a bit light to carry it off. It might be more interesting to try this as try a 6.5% brew.
O 'Too clever by half' as they say. They seem to be trying to do so much they end up with a confusing jumble. As an afterthrought I failed to detect any of the labled salt element at all.
330ml bottle 4.7% No isible BB date.
