Received this beer as part of an advent calendar - something different every day.
Poursed from a 330cl bottle into a tulip.
Lovely pinkish amber with copious white head and fine effervescence.
Smells of that classic funky, soury, almost kombucha like - hints of strawberry, lime jello
Taste is funky sour strawberry, cranberry, lime/lemon then the salty hits the middle/back of your tongue mid note and transitions to a clean, almost palate cleansing finish and tongue clicking saltiness (not unpleasant)
Mouthfeel is medium with copious carbonation, funky astringency and clean finish
I enjoyed this with some cheese and crackers - but I could see this being a good summer beer to accompany barbeque.
Reminds me of dogfish Seaquench ale - a sour with limes and salt - equally good.
Overall, solid gose, great introduction to this funky genre.
