Amber copper color with a thick off-white head with great retention and leaving some laces.
Aroma of herbal hops and light, but pleasant caramel malts.
Sweet flavor with notes of toasted malts, floral and earthy hops and hints of guaraná soda and pepper. Dry and mildly bitter aftertaste.
Light to watery body with good carbonation.
I found the Gold version superior. It is not a bad beer, but elevates your expectations with its appearance, and then a notch down with its nice caramel aroma and reality shows a lackluster flavor.
