The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a sustaining finger's worth of tan foamy head that settled at a fairly slow pace and ended up leaving a little bit of messy lace.
The aroma had some finely tuned in blackberry sweetness, some milk chocolate, and a sweet coffee cream coming in underneath.
The flavor leaned into the sweetness of the blend of the aroma and slyly moved into the aftertaste in a nice sort of way.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a pretty good sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt spot on with the ABV feeling appropriate. Fairly smooth sweet blend of berries to chocolate in the finish.
Overall, pretty damn nice milk/sweet stout well worth my time.

Growler-Blackberry, chocolate milk stout, picked up by a friend visiting Vermont.
Pours very dark brown, minor dark tan head, leaves a tiny bubble film, thin collar and moderate fine lacing
On the nose. I'm sensing milk chocolate and the sweet berries, nice
Flavorful stout with distinct notes of more chocolate, more sweet berries and drying hops late. Nicely done. Well worth seeking out this tasty creation if you find yourself up the north country of Vermont
