Served in a footed glass at Ale Arsenal.
A: Great tight head; good lacing. Pellucid gold.
S: Funky. Kinda cheesy, kinda lemony. Strong, dry, bitter rye.
T/M: Hah! The 100% rye malt bill is obvious. This is an odd sort of beer, but certainly not an unpleasant one. My only complaint is its relative thinness. Aggressively dry malt clashes with a light, aqueous, quenching mouthfeel. Bitter and grainy and pleasant. Not spicy.
O: I applaud the headstrong move to go all rye. More interesting than stellar, but quite enjoyable. Would have again!
