Caramel, bourbon, and toffee. A tad thin for a barleywine. Highlights the barrel and the bourbon. Pours deep amber. Body is big enough to carry the flavors.

750 ml wax sealed bottle, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Barley Wine. Raisins, dried fruit, and Bourbon nose. Dried fruit and oak, followed by buttery richness and slight heat from the alcohol. Absolute winner. After being somewhat disappointed by their Tree of Life Belgian Chocolate, I was very happy to be proved wrong about Schubros.
