Pours a finger of tan head on a black body.
The aroma is roasted malt and a little chocolate.
The taste is roasted malt, mild coffee and chocolate. There's an odd bitterness running through it though.
The texture is fairly smooth.

L: Pours dark opaque chestnut under a 1” rocky, persistent, clingy tan foam collar.
S: Chocolate, nutty nose, faint coffee.
T: Rich and layered dark malts, chocolate, dark dried fruit – nothing is burnt or harsh. Bitter accent is bitter dark chocolate.
F: Medium body and medium to medium low carbonation. Soft palate.
O: This is a smaller, drinkable stout harking back to the days before everything became imperial.

I usually do not venture into stouts as they are generally too heavy toward the coffee end of the spectrum for my taste, but this one isn't. I'd have to agree with the taste/feel comments from ChugginOil reviewer, but I liked it better than C-Oil... If you normally like IPAs and Pale Ales, I think you may like this stout.

Nice look when coming out, but why is this thing so frothy? I must have tilted my glass almost a full horizontal, but the foam kept building up. It was super distracting and took away from the beer.

Pretty light stout with cola edging. Light cocoa and coffee nose. Roasted malts. The flavors are filled with more cocoa. Dry bakers chocolate. Light biter coffee beans. Roasty. Thinner mouthfeel. Overall, decent stout with nice flavors but a bit too thin for me.
