From a can from a friend. A thin yellow color. A moderate head and some lacing. A little sour for my tastes. It tastes like regular American beer. Hmmm.

Poured on-tap and served in a shaker pint, the beer is an amber-caramel coloring with a fluffy, foamy, off-white head. Nose of toasted grains and subtle, bitter hops, with roasted notes throughout, too. Flavors are roasted and sweet forward, with chocolate notes and hints of smoke. Bitter on the tail-end, with a sugar/caramel sweet blend into the aftertaste. Great lacing left on the glass as you drink. Smooth, light bodied, with a cloying caramel finish. Tasty and bold for a lager.
