Poured on-tap and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, opaque, orange-gold coloring with a sparse, filmy, white head. Nose of orange juice and grapefruit juice, and not much else. Flavors are heavy citrus forward, with a bold acidity. None of the typical smoothness, spice, or bready characteristics. Tastes like a glass of half orange and half grapefruit juice. Body is heavy, with an acidic and citrus aftertaste. The finish is very bitter. This one was a bit on the rough side.
