12 oz can with a December 2020 canning date stamp on the bottom, served in a Belgian snifter.
Pours dark reddish-brown. The body is nearly opaque but shows garnet-ruby colored when held to light. There's a weak tan head that reduces to a thin ring and a wispy trace of head.
Peanuts are more prominent in the aroma than the flavor where coffee, roasted peanuts and dark roasted grains vye to dominate the earthy-herbal hops. As with the regular Perkolatte, there are hints of chocolate and dark toast plus, particularly in the aftertaste, a light smokiness.
Overall. even better than their very good Perkolatte,
