Visited the brewery in South Carolina while on Vacation. Thanks to the new South Carolina "Pint Law" that was passed recently, was able to sample all six beers they had on offer. Of the six available that day at the brewery, this was the most interesting for me.

Billed as an American Brown Ale, the beer was clear with the distinct aroma of hops on the nose. Very pleasant start. Easy drinking and taste was on point for the style. Lots of brown sugar, amber and roasted malts and a pleasant bitterness. The server compared it to Newcastle Brown, a comparison which I heartily disagree with. I would drink this over Newcastle Brown any day. However, although the beer is described as an American Brown Ale, it is quite English in my opinion.
