Visited the brewery while vacationing in Bluffton, SC. Thanks to the new "Pint Law" that passed a while ago, I was able to sample all of the beer available. This beer intrigued me. I can't say if any of the beers I have had have used El dorado hops, but to my recollection, I've never seen this one before.
The beer was very much a typical medim bodied APA, with good drink ability and mouthfeel. The aroma was dank and hoppy. Lots of interest here, very grassy, wet farm smell, which I enjoyed. The taste was a bit of a let-down after such solid aroma; however, still quite enjoyable.
