Yes, it does exist. Yes, it was CANned. Yes, that is my approved pic. Yes, I am the first and, perhaps, only one to rate and/or review it. Such is the nature of The CANQuest (tm).

From the CAN: "WYEP and Rivertowne are two of Pittsburgh's most beloved brands. In celebration of WYEP's 40th anniversary, we are so pleased to team up to bring you this special pilsner. Like WYEP's mix of music, Dancer Man pilsner is smooth and refreshing. And like WYEP's community events and free concerts, Dancer Man pilsner will have you dancing in the streets. Enjoy!"

It seemed to want to dance right out of the CAN since there was some foaming through the vent directly following the Crack! Quick thinking & action on my part saved the day as I CANducted enough of a Glug to get things back under CANtrol. It produced two fingers of puffy, rocky, bone-white head that slowly fell, leaving great lacing in its wake. Color was a slightly-hazy Pale-Straw (SRM = 1 - 2). Nose smelled of freshly-mown hay, a light biscuitiness and some grassiness. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium. The taste was very much of mown hay and grass with some biscuit malt thrown in for good measure. Finish was crisp, clean, very refreshing and definitely a German Pilsner. It would be great on a hot summer's day, dancing in the street at a free concert. I hope that they revisit producing this beer.

Bought the can knowing the style is OK. Into my mouth.

A - Not sure from the can again. a straight 4.25
S - Mostly skunk hops pilsner malts and some herbal twang.
T - A touch better than Miller Light with a touch more of hops. Can't usually say more.
M - Light to medium a decent take on the style.

Overall I love hometown brews but hate pilsners. Blah?

Serving Type - Can

Appearance - Straw golden yellow with out much of a head or lacing.

Smell - Lemon, pilsner malts, biscuit , some floral aroma. Rather bland.

Taste - Much like the smell, bland, weak floral fruits mixed with some pilsner malts, and a faint lager flavor. Some lemon, a little spice and sugar note.

Mouthfeel - Faint malts coat the tongue. Palate gets some fruits, sugars and spices. Aftertaste is weak and watery.

Overall - This one can dance its way down the sink. Id be hard pressed to not think this is a macro beer. Weak flavors, boring, and super easy to drink, theres nothing about this I want again.

It pours a pale golden hue with bright white egg shell hued head floating high above the rim of the glass, fine intricate lacing is left behind.

Aroma has lemon notes, earthy herbal notes and a touch of sulfur. Pale biscuit malt builds into a nice bready malt exposure for the senses.

Flavor has a pale malt base, brings in earthy, herbal, citrus pith hop layers with ample biscuit malt bready character to balance it all out. I love this beer dedicated to the good music at WYEP.org the Dancer Man Pilsner is quite epic for it’s cause.

Mouthfeel has a medium to light bodied texture with ample carbonation rolling strong on the palate with each sip, actually works well for what it is.

Overall, I can’t complain for what it is, but it's complete ridiculousness to consider paying $11.99 a six pack for this one. If it's part of a mixed sampler at the distributor for 31.99, then I would pay it, but for one six pack that's outrageous.
