For a blonde ale it sure does taste more like a lager...
Not that there is anything wrong with lagers, heck, that's the style where my beer drinking days started. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for lagers. But this thing - advertised as a blonde ale (something greater than a lager in my opinion) tastes like a wheaty lager. So the point? Well, it was mostly okay. The smell was reminiscent of something like a Corona, the mouthfeel is light but carbonated and the taste is wheaty - better than a macro but still nothing too special to crow about. As I rated it, it's okay...

Described as a golden ale in online material, so blonde ale seems closest in the American ale column.
Poured into grip shaped goblet: color is gold, fairly clear, good bright white head with 1 finger presentation and lingering top and some lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is simple, pleasant with nice toasted, bready malt, some crisp earthy hops.
Taste is clean, simple as well - good toasted, bready malt, moderate crisp hops with just a hint of earthy notes.
Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, light lingering sweetness, and just barely drying.
Overall this is a simple, easy drinking ale, just enough hops, pleasant malty sweetness, and seems to have held up well to aging.
