Pours amber with a small fading head.
Nose shows pineapple, lychee, orange, peach, nectarine. Crazy sweet fruity goodness.
Similar fruit as flavours but a little more restrained. Some light sweet malt with a cookie dough character.
Body feels quite watery unfortunately.

On tap at GABS festival, May 2014.
Pours a golden colour, touch of haze. Head is cream, fairly webbed out to a thin rim of lace that doesn't really stick. Pretty bland-looking.
Smells OK. Belgian with a slight coriander spice character to it. Slight phenolic character on the back; again fairly bland.
Tastes reasonably sweet with vanilla-tinged malt upfront followed by a fair quantity of honey towards the back. Pleasant enough flavour but very simple and not much character. Really don't get much of the grapefruit, orange etc. promised by the programme.
Decent body, but untextured and pretty par for the course.
Nice enough blonde, but not nearly enough to stand out at a festival like this, or indeed if I were just sessioning this at a party. Just a bit dull.

Tried on-tap at GABS 2014 in Melbourne, brewed with "zesty hints of orange, grapefruit and lemon".
Pours a golden blonde colour with some haze through the thin, light-weight body. Head is almost non-existent, just off-white, although it's hard to see it at all. Minimal lace as well, of course. I'm unenthused.
Mild chewy sweetness on the nose with a little musty malt character coming through. Some peppery spice makes up the remainder, but there's no hint of the zesty flavour explosion they mooted.
Light rosewater character on the front palate with a sweetness more like underripe berries than citrus. Slight roundness comes through on the middle of the palate underlining more (albeit very faint) spice notes. Back is light, but clean—turning weak and empty in the finish. Feel is very light indeed.
Overall, yeah it's okay. It's inoffensive, but it's also numbingly uninteresting, especially when surrounded by some of the other beers at the festival. I was remarkably underwhelmed.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
