Thanks to exiled for sharing this growler.
Pours golden orange with a white head. Aroma is strong hops with some piney resin. Flavor is like the smell with a mix of citrus and pine. Low-medium hop bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and a slightly dirty, earthy finish. Not a bad IPA and certainly something that is drinkable if you are at Humperdinks and need something to drink while watching a game on TV.

Big Red is a shiny copper with a creamy, average-sized head. Aroma is of citrissy hop and is a bit on the weak side for an IPA. Hop flavor here is very good, somewhere between piney and citrissy, with a fresh, "green" flavor. The underlying malt body supports this beer nicely. Flavor is solid all-around, with a distinct enough flavor to set itself apart from the usual west-coast IPAs I sample.
