Tvåtusensjutton (2017) version, but probably the same recipe. 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%, IBU 35. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, hints of chocolate, vanilla and nuts. The medium dry flavour is also moderately roasty, notes of mild coffee, chocolate and nuts. Moderate hops. Nice and drinkable porter.

Clear, pitch black beer with a one finger high, beige head.
Nose: Roasted malt, dark bread, ash, licorice, raisin, chocolate, tobacco and a light nose of coffee.
Taste: Malt - roasted of course, oak, chocolate, caramel and raisin.
Mouth: Medium body, crisp carbonation. Dry and bitter ending.
Really good! Especially for the ABV!
I had this porter for the first time at Porterfestivalen in Gothenburg, November 2016. Then called Fatserie 005. I gave it the rating 3.75 at Untappd then.
Today I'm giving the "new" Julporter 3.75 here at BA - Looks like brewmaster Daniel has managed to remember the recipe! :)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
