Copenhagen 4/10 2022. 33 cl chubby bottle from Føtex, Husum Torv, Husum. Red version of Poppel’s usual label design with a little London double decker.
Pours unclear amber with a mid-sized fluffy, off-white head. Stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, toasted and malty odor mingling with a light fruity, tart scent. Toasted malts, toffee and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste sweetish and pleasant. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Pleasant and pretty harmless Amber Lager.

Pours a clear amber with fine head.
Smell is light, bready and a bit floral. Notes of crackers and some citrus with a strange, mineral hint.
Taste is bready and a bit sweet. Moderate bitterness and notes of brown bread, rye and some citrus. Some mineral and yeasty hints in the background. A bit muddled.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a decent lager, not nearly crisp and clean enough.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Clear amber colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts and caramel. Slightly citric mouthfeel. Flavour of malts and caramel again, not too sweet, a hint of roastiness. Not bad, but not particularly exciting either.

I seem to be the first to review...yay.
From Sweden...and called London Lager...interesting. I know little about Swedish beer, but lots about London "lager"...which is usually European or Australian...not English. So I defined this for this website as a "London Pale Ale".
Looks dark like a London bitter, not like a lager. As it's marketed as a lager, I shall take this into account.
Aroma of primarily sweet toffee. I am fairly sure this is not a lager ; )
Unfortunately because I chilled this in my fridge as though it was a lager as advertised...it tastes terrible. It should be room temperature as it's a bitter (a room with heating or between 10 and 20 centigrade), not a lager. When cold, it really tastes horrible.
So yes, this is the worst lager that I ever tried. It's not even close. And it's definitely not a London Pale Ale either ; )

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
