Copenhagen 31/3 2023- 75 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé. White label with the name of the beer in gold.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized, dark beige head. Stable. Settles as a thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, sugary odor of malt and candy mingling with dark alcohol. Chocolate, brown sugar and toffee. Sweet bourbon and molasses.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately tromp bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a warm, boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry in a sweet and boozy way.
Pretty potent and enjoyable.
