This collab was made in 2020 after months of lockdown, isolation and closed borders, with our german friends Sudden Death Brewing. We want you to remember that this too shall pass and the distance between us will end. Until then, discover what’s behind the mask.
”This is a really hoppy beer, where we used both regular hops and cryo hops enhance the fruity notes. We added oats to create a nice body and a well balanced sweetness. Also, we tried out the whole new hops type TALUS”

Copenhagen 2/2 2021. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Poppel’s usual text heavy design this time including COVID-19 recommendations and a Jason Vorhees hockey mask.
Pours opaque murky golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam with a rim of foam running along the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit mingling with a sharper citric scent. Peach and papaya. Citrus and grapefruit.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Fine NEIPA where you can study how to survive the pandemic while sipping the beer.
