English Style Pale Ale is a beer style known as a malty and balanced ale, which works well as a mealtime drink. The beer has fruitiness, sweetness and notes of caramel, which are balanced by a marked bitterness. We have chosen malt varieties that give flavor and body, as well as a red tone in the color.
"Here we wanted to make a beer in a style we really appreciate ourselves, a real food beer. The vision has been to create something that goes well with a large number of dishes, but which can also be enjoyed just as it is."
Daniel Granath, Brewmaster

Copenhagen 11/7 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Nordens Plads, Frb. F. Burgundy and black can In Poppel's usual design with a long written history of the beer including food pairings.
Pours unclear amber with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with a sweet, roasted scent. Sweet peach and orange. Caramel, toasted bread and toffee.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Nice brew for Chicken, mild Cheese and Selery.
