White stout is a beer style that can technically be described as a strong, amber-colored ale, with characteristics that we usually associate with stout. Therefore, despite the light color, you can find notes of coffee and chocolate. The beer also has a full body and a big mouthfeel.

Copenhagen 26/12 2021. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A very pink version of Poppel’s usual crowded design with a very big diamond ring and staring eyes in light blue and a yellow sticker telling me it’s part of a experimental series.
Pours almost clear golden amber with a big yellowish head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a boozy but round and toasted scent. Caramel, toffee, white chocolate. Hints of brown sugar.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, smooth, soft, creamy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and a bit candy-like. Lingers for a while. Finish is toasted caramel.
Quite on the sweet side. Comes out a combination of a Amber Lager and a sweet Stout.
