Copenhagen 15/1 2020. 33 cl little chubby bottle. Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Label is text heavy and includes a recipe for Marrocan Lamb Stew.
Pours slightly unclear dark brown with a red hue. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, spicy and sweet. Brown sugar, licorice, fermented, dark fruits. Star anise, cardamom. Hints of ginger.
Medium carbonation. Medium carbonation, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering. Spicy finish.
If you are into Christmas spices this is a good shot for a seasonal. If not......
