Køge 17/10 2019. 33 cl little chubby bottle from Meny, Gymnasievej, Køge. Poppels usual text heavy style on the label. Made even more text heavy as there is three breweries involved.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with big white head. Settles as clumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Massive Lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, fruity, citric with a form sweet malty backbone. Sweet pale malts, light exotic fruit like Peach and Pineapple. Tart notes of citrus and Grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Soft, smooth, slightly thick almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish. Flavorful hoppy lager with a good intensity and a nice dry finish.
