Copenhagen 15/7 2022. 33 cl chubby bottle from Føtex, Frederikssundsvej, Brønshøj. Poppel's usual text heavy design with food pairings and longer explanation of the wheat beer tradition in Belgium.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of orange lemonade mingling with tart notes and a bit of spice. Oranges and citrus. Coriander and yeast. White sugar.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling, fizzy texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate, tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart with a sweet undertone. Lingers shortly. Finish is rather dry.
Rather fresh and enjoyable.

330 ml stubby bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 4.8%. Slightly hazy golden colour, thin white head. Dull aroma of dust, only the faintest hints of coriander and orange peel. Citric flavour, minimal coriander, minimal hops. Drinkable, but far from the best witbier I've had. Won't buy again.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of May 2018. Acquired a while back from a webshop. The label is in Swedish but I can make out references to coriander and citrus.
A: Poured into a tulip. Bottle conditioned. A very hazy light amber colour with moderate carbonation and a ton of fine suspended sediment. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that settles and rapidly dissipates.
S: Aroma of earthy yeast with hints of wheat, grain, mild bread, fruity yeast esters, subtle banana, a touch of coriander and faint citrus. Pretty good.
T: Tastes of earthy yeast with notes of yeast esters, mild banana, spice, wheat, bread, a hint of coriander, faint leafiness and a twinge of citrus peel. Very dry, followed by a delicate bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with soft carbonation and decent body. Lightly astringent. Aftertaste of earthy, fruity yeast, mild banana, wheat/grain, subtle spice/coriander and faint citrus.
O: A solid effort, though not as good as some Belgian examples I've tried. Decidedly subpar looks - that head retention needs work. Aroma and flavour are yeasty with hints of fruit, spice and wheat. Body is OK. Drinkable and refreshing; worth sampling.

A: Massive white light head and straw-colored liquid loaded with small bubbles. Decent lacings.
S: Wheat, ripe bananas, and yeast up front. But then there is also lots of spices; coriander and seville orange sezt. Rather dry.
T: Bready and wheaty at the same time. Ripe bananas and lots of citric notes. Yeast and spices.
M: LIght and refreshing body, rich carbonation, rather smooth and a smooth feel. Aftertaste is somewhat bitter and kind of long considering the style.
O: Nice and well crafted. The spices are a bit different than usually, but that was not a bad thing - instead it was interesting.
