Smells like one part piña colada, one part fresh hops (green, grassy, melon-y).

Taste brings a slightly softer version of the hop onslaught I've come to expect from Riot Rye - bright, fresh, green, melon, subtle berry and noticeable bitterness. This is immediately counterbalanced by the sweet, creamy, tropical rum barrel profile (again, think piña colada). Great balance, with plenty of hop resin enshrouding the whole flavor profile. Still some peppery spice from the rye.

When first poured, ice cold, there's a bit too much rum and it tastes like a boozy mixed drink. This mellows considerably as the beer warms. Thick, creamy, resinous mouthfeel. Great version of an already great beer.
