There are some great brett IPAs out there. The fruity notes of some Brett strains can pair very well with the citrus and tropical fruit notes from some of the newer hop varietals. I'd love to say that this was one of those beers, but unfortunately it was not. Instead, this beer was a mess of cherry cough syrup flavor from the brett fighting with resiny and herbal notes from the hops. The body is thin and watery; I have no idea why they didn't dump this disaster of a beer instead of springing it on the public.
