Had on tap at the brewery and what a hidden gem it is indeed. Don't let the name "double rex" fool you. This is not a DIPA but at 6.6% is right in your standard IPA range. Pours a very turbid grayish orange. Smell is a citrus burst of hop goodness. Taste is creamy and citrus burst with minimal bitterness in the finish. Very rich and full bodied as well.
Dare I say this may be one of the best IPA brewed in Maryland? Questions and possibilities. Regardless I'll need to go back for a revisit, but I would probably go with yes for now.
