Poured from a Growler into a DFH snifter.
L: Pours a murky orange copper color with a finger of beige head that fades to a thin ring and leave subtle lacing in the glass. Some people love that haze look, while I enjoy unfiltered beers, this just isn't all the pretty to look at.
S: Amazing. A huge blast of citrus fruit. Smells like a bag of fresh oranges.
T: Juicy citrus bomb. Orange, grapefruit, guava & passionfruit. Resin-y bitterness subtlety completes the finish. Everything is so smooth here.
F: Once again the flavors meld together with such a smoothness I'd almost describe it as having a creamy tongue coating mouthfeel. Carbonation is very soft.
O: Very well done one-off from Monocacy. The Blank Slate series usually produces some winners. This is actually the 2nd batch brewed and I'm glad to have tried it this time around. I can't believe the flavors and aromas they pulled out of the beer. Keep up the good work.
