Pours a slightly hazy, gold tinged raspberry color with a frothy, white head that fades quickly.
Smells of bright raspberries and some backend yeast funk.
Tastes of the bright, tart raspberries layered over some wine characteristics. Raspberries lead off with a noticeable tartness. This gives way to some syrupy sweetness. Wine barrel comes through with a bit of oak and a hint of tannins. Lactic acid makes a presence towards the end as the tartness lingers through the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium-light with a crisp amount of carbonation.
Overall, this is a good wild ale.

On tap at the brewery. Smell of light rasberries up front, and as the beer warms the feint funky aromas begin to shine through. Light to moderate sourness/tartness in taste blending with the rasberry, and like the aroma the funk becomes more noticable as it warms. Not quite as complex as other wilds/Belgian sours I've had but its definitely well crafted and certainly not 1 dimensional at all. Would love to have opportunity to have this one in a bottle and let it age for a while.
