Good George Brewing

Amazing place, great vibe, and some of the top beers.

My wife and I decided to stop in for lunch and beer while on our way from Rotorua to Auckland. We didn't have to be in Auckland for quite some time so we decided to hang out even longer than anticipated and try several of the beers on tap. This place is really col with a wide open pub area and some outdoor seating as well. Service is very friendly and attends to you pretty much exactly when you need them, no sooner and no later. The food menu is varied, as well as the beer menu, accounting for a wide variety of tastes. The pizzas were excellent as well as the atmosphere. Due to the high ceilings this place doesn't get very loud. On a final note, you can see the brewers performing their duties due to there being glass between the pub and brewing area. Some of the finishing tanks are outside with a good amount of the other equipment indoors and easily viewable.
