On cask at Pinocchio's.
Are we really running out of ideas this badly? Okay honestly this wasn't too bad, even though it sounds like garbage adjunct, what with the beer already having a bunch of other stuff in it. Muddy brown pour with some sparse foam on top. Caramel malt and coffee in the aroma, light smoke. Basically the same in the taste, malty, but more brown ale than stout, some coffee, no maple, and a touch of earthy apple. I think if the apple butter was more intense, it would have either made this beer much better or much worse...I don't know I've never had or even heard of a beer with this ingredient in it, but it just seems like so much could go wrong with it. But the balance was there, so it definitely was not terrible. It's a novelty and I wouldn't want to try it again, but it was at least worth one try.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
