From a 32 ounce crowler canned on 12/23/18, consumed on Christmas day, in a tulip glass. It checks in at 5.5% abv.
Nice looking golden amber color with a half finger's worth of white cap. The film that's left gives some spot and wisps of lacing. Not quite see-through, not quite cloudy.
Fresh citrus hop aroma, grapefruit. Some pine and caramel malt.
Fresh citrus hops over sturdy malt. Just a touch of pine sap for earthiness.
Medium body with the right amount of carbonation. Hoppy enough without overpowering the malt.
A fall release that I may have caught at the end of its cycle. No matter, it was fresh and hoppy.
