This was another beer that a cousin picked up for me recently while down the shore. I had never heard of Ship Bottom before but after having these, I'll keep my eye out for them as this was an easily enjoyable brew that had just enough flavor and body to it to not be considered a "lawnmower beer" or something to buy in large amounts for short parties in the summer...

Not a bad pour to this as the liquid was a light copper with a *very* find sediment floating in it and a sufficient head topping it off. Scattered sections of splotchy lacing were left behind as this was a bit thinner than I would have liked. Lots of juicy Citra and earthy Cascade in the nose as the grape from the Nelson Sauvin, pine, and Caramel Malt came through in the taste. Some gooseberry and deep blueberry emerged as this warmed up, giving this beer the juiciness that it needed to be slick on the palate while being full-bodied at the same time. Quite outdoorsy in nature, this went down well with a lively carbonation and a bit of an exotic feel in the back once this fully went down.

Hard to notice the alcohol in this as I could have easily cracked another one of these open after finishing this off. No sediment was visible in this as I had no idea when this was canned, given that the bottom didn't have anything written on it. Certainly wet, this didn't have anything outstanding to it but was nicely done for a night of kicking back such as this. This is as pleasant a session beer from this neck of the woods as I've had in quite a long time...
