New venue to open up in Sydney, about a 15 minute walk from St Leonards train station. Located on the main road of Naremburn, its set back a little from the main road, however all seating is indoors. The main bar area has a narrow walkway, with a handful of booths on the left & high tables on the other side. A large mirror above the booths is there to give the perception of more space in a pretty small main room. Nice empty beer bottle mural on the wall next to the high tables, which would've taken its fair share of time to complete.

All pretty hard surfaces except for the banquettes at the booths, so a nice buzz about the place and given the nice decor stops it being sterile. Tiny bar area in the corner with the 4 taps and the 32 bottled beers. They plan to have a couple of handpumps in the future and to brew their own beers down the track.

The atmosphere is buzzy, it seems to be the beer equivalent of the neighbourhood wine bar. Pretty nice suburb, mature clientele of 30-60 all coming for somewhere to have a few quiet drinks.

Service was pretty basic, but friendly. Told me about the extra seating out the back & room upstairs & down that is easy to overlook.

Tap selection can be a bit hit and miss. Just the 4 taps and most of them dedicated to locals. Fortunately Riverside 44 was on today. The other three taps being Red Hill Golden, Badlands Dark & Moo Brew Belgo. The prices for these are $7.50 for 365ml and $9 for a 20oz pint across all four. Bottle prices are ridiculously cheap for Australia. Green Flash West Coast 12oz for $9.50 is comparable to bottle shop prices. While Cantillon Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio 750ml bottles at $18 is cheaper than any bottle shop!

Good bottle list with US highlights like Narwhal & Northern Hemisphere Harvest. Europe is well represented with Cantillon Gueuze , Old Peculier, Youngs Special London Ale. While local options are also there with Wayward Charmer . Very well thought out bottle list.

Didn't have any food, but Thursday night is Curry night. Trading hours are currently 3pm to 11pm Wednesday to Saturday & 3pm to 10pm on Sunday.

Nice new venue to open up and a real boon for Sydney beer venues. Good neighbourhood bar with a very good and amazingly cheap bottle list. Well worth stopping by if in the area.

Loved this place. Went there for a Beer Tasting and Meet the Brewer.
Drank a lot of Riverside Pale Ale and other great Riverside Beers.
Overall the evening was fantastic. Fresh, awesome craft beers, on tap and from the bottle to if the taps don't suite your style.
The atmosphere is awesome and all the staff are super friendly.
Food was really great as well. Good, simple, tasty snack food that isn't pretentious.

They're in the process of setting up their own small batch brewery on site.
Looking forward to trying their own craft beers once they get it up and running.
At the moment, on tap, it's all craft beer that isn't brewed on site but hey... what's wrong with that? Nothing... Great place.
