Nice Weisse, just as expected. A bit aged but no less good. Passion fruit is there and so is the lactic tartness expected. Nice and refreshing with almost a brown sugar or honey characteristic throughout. Darker than expected, almost like a Vienna lager.

Unknown bottling date poured into a pint glass. Nice true clear yellow color, and, like most sours, a head that settles out very quick with subtle carbonation. Nice passionfruit aroma with flowers and sweet sour nectar. The taste is sour snap up front into nice passionfruit sweetness and florals, finishing on another more subtle sour kick that is quite refreshing. Really great body here, incredibly bubbly and frothy but light and crisp at the same time, finishing moderately dry.
Really great passion sour here, great for this year's spring.

Had this in July 2018.
Pours a slightly darker color than berliner weisse traditionally would be, its a dark gold and light amber appearance, I guess maybe passion fruit additions will do that. 1/3" white head. Aroma of tangy sour fruit and wheat. Not picking up any wood.
Taste, its coming off like a decent kettle berliner. Has equal parts passion fruit to cut the berliner tang and sourness, good wheat levity, I like the low abv, drinks pretty easy. Acidity and sourness in relative restraint. Minimal bitterness and hop presence as it should be. Detectable wheat compared to a barley beer. The sourness makes you taste lemon more than passionfruit. Sour still wins, passion fruit sweetness cuts it a bit, but not too much (thankfully).
Relatively affordable bomber of this, but still, probably more per ounce than I want to pay for a 4% kettle beer. Now put these in some 12oz bottles/4 pack for the same price, and you'd be talking some bizness.

Bubbly golden pour with two fingers of white foam. Smell is incredible in how pure and intense the passion fruit aromas are, just breathe it in, with supporting wheat, toasted biscuit, lemon zest, and graham cracker. So fresh and clean. Taste has the same star flavors from the nose, but brought together in a way that helps the bready elements star more: wheat and cereal in with biscuit and graham cracker, with the passion fruit and lemon as an aria atop it all. Feel is tart, wheat balances somewhat, higher carbonation keeps it active, bright and simply fun for the sun! Perfect beer to kiss the heat of the summer goodbye with

Nice looking beer, slighly hazy. You can smell the fruit across the room on this one; fades away with the head. Taste is dry, light finish, nice lingering aftertaste. Tropical fruit, of course, with citrus, orange peel and apple skins tartness. Light carbonation. Overall, a very good sour without being overboard about it.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down but left a wide collar around the edge of the glass and a layer of bubbles covering nearly the remainder of the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of passion fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste is somewhat sour and is dominated by flavors of passion fruit.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and very tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is bursting with aromas and flavors of passion fruit and has a pleasant amount of sourness.
Serving type: can

i believe this is different from the passionfruit berliner thats listed here as well, but maybe not, perhaps it has just changed a bit and been renamed over time, either way its as good under this label as it was under the other one, seemingly less fermentation forward, just neutral tartness with the natural tang of the fruit, which is as real as it gets, boldly dosed, and super easily identifiable in here. the cleanness of the beer overall is nice, and there is a subtle earthy cereal wheat character to it. some lemony citrus in support of the passion, its just an essence though, and the whole thing is mouthwatering, fresh, and even refreshing for a sour. acidity is low enough that i could drink and want to drink several of them, a bomber would not be too big a dose for me at all, and carbonation is really high so this feels very alive to me, super summery overall. i have seen this around quite a bit, but havent gotten into it until now, should have known it would be awesome, breakside beers always are. seems like this is just an updated version of their original passionfruit berliner from years ago, but its really refined and delicious, great use of the fruit, ill be drinking my share of this moving forward!
edit: i like this one every time i have it, but its one of the sours thats just better fresher, we cracked a cellared bottle recently and found it faded some, with some maltier heaviness and even oxidation, some sediment in the bottom too, maybe a little more tart, still awesome but changed and less good, less bright, even with the passion still popping. best when new i reckon, which is not always the case with sours like this, but its cleaner and tighter when its fresh, no doubt.

On tap at Rocket Dog Brats & Brews
A: Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that quickly settles and leaves a little thin spotty lacing.
S: Fresh tart passion fruit, nice lactic tartness builds on that, faintly grassy, with a little twangy wheat, and a hint of funk.
T: Pleasant lactic tartness, though it does linger, nice hit of passion fruit right off the bat, slightly grassy, a bit of earthy funk, and a little twangy wheat.
M: A bit on the lighter side of medium body, lively carbonation.
O: After spending 2 summers working in Hawaii I've grown to be a big fan of passion fruit and this does a solid job showcasing it. Tartness hangs around so I'm not sure I could handle a bomber to myself, but I'd happily share it.

Bright 24k gold, clean and clear with a bubbly white foam that descends like a champagne.
Fruit Roll-Up aroma, peaches and apricots with a dash of acidic sourness.
As advertised, this taste like straight passion fruit juice. Tart, and sweet passion fruit.
Light bodied, crisp and tart, but not too tart. An easy drinking and refreshing beer all around.
No wonder this is a decorated beer. It hits all the marks for a light and fruity, tart and summer heat quenching beer.
Cheers.

22 oz. bottle:
Pours lightly clouded golden yellow. A very thin white cover tops it off. Spotted lacing sticks.
The smell is of sour/tart passion fruit. Tropical. Sour.
The taste is similar to a passion fruit flavored Sweettart candy. Subtle wheat weaves in and out. Refreshingly tart finish.
It is light-bodied, crisp and refreshing. Easy to drink. Tartness solid but not overwhelming.
An interesting tropical twist on a Berliner Weiss. Well-done. A nice summer brew! (My bottle states 5% abv - which is well-covered.)

22oz bottle purchased at the 76 gas station in Bothell, Washington. No Pckd date.
Look- Hazy, bright yellow with a quickly dissipating head, minimal lacing.
Smell- Fruit, passion fruit of course. A little grainy with a tail of spice.
Taste- Sour passion fruit, with a little malt that doesn't really balance it out.
Feel- Very carbonated and cooler like, better when it was really cold.
O- Too sour for me. Took me two days to finish the 22. Probably won't go back to this one, but tasty.
