On tap at their brewery today. 24 IBUs. Is this a pilsner or a pale lager? Well it does a great job of straddling the line. Clear light yellow with a dense white head with good carbonation and nice lacing, this looks great. The nose is a really nice bright,earhty,fruity, moderately tropical snappy hop character, clean, mildly bitter and refreshing. Clean cracker pils malt character, this is crisp on the nose and the palate too. Opening with tropical fruit and mild pine, this smells hoppier than the advertised 24 IBUs. Bitter and clean on the mid palate, and the really mild cracker malt character does not intrude on the hop backbone. Drying and crisp on the finish with mild bitterness and mild fruitiness, this beer is cleanly fermented and quite awesome. Recommended.
