i have not had a ton of fruited gose, so this one comes in highly anticipated. its beautiful from the tap, golden honey colored, whitewashed almost, with a soapy sudsy head with great retention. it smells nice, more way more gose than plums. the salt is heavy in this one, kind of what i have been waiting for in the style, and the sourness is also rather intense, at least in the nose. i hardly smell plum at all, although that is definitely one of those fruits that is hard to get flavor and have it be dry, and this style demands to be dry. i taste more of the plums than i smelled for sure, tart more like the skins than the flesh, but its still way back. the sourness is very alive, maybe brett and lacto in this one. i dont get much coriander either, which i really dont mind at all. almost a wit type yeast going on too, very interesting mix of flavors. the salt comes on big in the finish, drying the whole thing out. less minerals this time, its pushing being downright salty, which sounds weird but tastes delicious. i am so glad to have breakside all over the market like this. about every other beer i have from them is sensational!

Very light crisp flavor with light salt. Plum is in the back end of the drink and definitely not "in your face." Finishes with just enough tartness and plum to keep you coming back. Great take on a fruited gose

Light salty taste. Plum is a no show.
